Chi Formula Shuang An Kang Eleuthero (刺五加)

The main components of eleuthero (刺五加) include seven glycosides, Eleutheroside A, B, C, D, E, F and G, as well as glucose, galactose and other sugars, plus plentiful carotene, vitamins B1, B2 and C and minerals. It nourishes and strengthens the body and reduces tiredness.

Eleuthero belongs to the Araliaceae family. It grows mainly along the Heilongjiang river basin on the China–Russia border, in Siberia and on Japan's Hokkaido. It is listed as a top-grade herb in the Shennong Bencao Jing, and the Compendium of Materia Medica quotes: “Better a handful of wujia than a cartload of gold and jade”, showing how highly the ancients regarded it.

Suggested use

Take two to four sachets daily, dissolved in hot water or taken directly by mouth. Best taken on an empty stomach.
